Science talks about evolution and survival of the fittest and therefore the genetics of the strongest or most adaptable continues.

Well I'd like to revisit this concept on an energetic or more spiritual level.

Each person is made up of energy. For sake of explanation, imagine each person as a column of energy. As this person eats some chicken the energy of the chicken is combined with it's energy and suddenly now the column of energy has a protrusion about midway down the column. As this person eats some cheese the protrusion grows some more. The column is not a static energy, it is constantly flowing energy. And as it finds a new place to go, energy pushes at this protrusion.

This person with the mid-level protrusion then meets another person who also has a protrusion at about the same level. The 2 people engage in conversation, energy starts to flow between the 2 of them as they start to build a bond. But then their protrusions meet and hit each other causing discomfort. They push at each other, both requiring space for their protrusions. In the end the one with the stronger energy and larger protrusion knocks back the other protusion and the other person disengages his energy and leaves. The winner has all the space he needs. The loser has a smaller protrusion as a result of the interaction.

There is lots to be said about this, but will be included in the content of another article at a later date. For the moment i need you to be thinking with this sort of mindset.

Imagine a person who's column has become distorted in places, weak at some other places, bulging in others, dipped in others etc. This person has a lot of work to do to return his energy to the natural column shape that it should be. But as they say as we get older the harder it is for us to change, the more stubborn we become, the more people have to work around us. And to be fair, there is only so much we can do to our form in a given time frame. So, we have kids. Both parents' energetic forms get combined and passed on. Why? survival of the species? well, yes, but no. It's more important to realise that because the parents never managed to resolve their issues to return their energetic shapes to the original, the job has now fallen to the child. Having taken on both parents' base shape/forms at the point of conception, the child has also taken on board their issues, and it then becomes the child's issue to then try his/her best to break the mold and return it to the perfect column shape.

For example a child dislikes his father. The child tells him he doesn't love him and causes him much pain. This child has anger issues (a liver energy protrusion in its column). As the child grows into an adult, it's protrusion is never really dealt with by any external energy, be it a family member or a friend, or by the person himself. Now this person then gets married and has a child of his own. The child inherits his energetic protrusion and subsequently also has an anger issue. And seeing as both father and sons' protrusions collide, much like the generation before, there are issues. The new child now tells its father that he doesn't love him either. Now, you can say that this is karma coming back to bite his ass. And indeed it is in a way. BUT...

...BUT, what's more important to see is that there is a cycle forming here. If no one changes, and no one or no-thing intervenes then this cycle becomes a cycle of "death" - there is no change for the better, there is no energy being reshaped and therefore no energy returning to the original column shape, thus there is no returning to God; there is no enlightenment, and therefore this energy form - which still NEEDS to be reshaped will end up being combined and reborn again and again and again and again until someone or something intervenes to get it out of the rut; to break down that protrusion for them. To tell them they need to change cause they are wrong.

To me, this cycling of energy or RE-cycling of energy is the so called RE-incaration (of energy) in mankind. It is not each individual that is reincarnated/recycled, but it is their energetic form that remains (through the child and subsequent generations) that needs to reformed and returned to God.

There was a hadith about Imam 'Ali (as) who was fighting in a battle field. He was having a competition with someone to see who could kill more of the enemy. At the end when they tallied to see who had killed more and i think the hadith mentions that the other killed more. But it's Imam 'Ali's reply that is important. He replied, "but before every person i killed i looked 10 generations into his future. And if there was just one Shi'a (a true follower, not the label), then i spared his life.

Why? Was the Imam thinking, i shouldn't kill him cause we need more followers in the future or that he shouldn't kill a line because there will be born a good person in that line. No, because there is a bigger picture to consider. It wasn't purely because there would be a true follower that was important. It was what that true follower would do, how he would change his energetic self and how that change would then affect the rest of the energy (of mankind).

But it's worth mentioning, there is no "me". i am not fixing "me" per-se. There is no "me" in this. i'm just fixing my parents problems, and they were fixing theirs and so on. When we fix our energetic form, we do it not only for ourselves, but for our whole anscenstral line. And this continual cycle of fixing is Spiritual Evolution.
